Not only have diamonds become accepted as the symbol of love, but they are the cherished birthstone for the month of April. Diamonds are also the gift of choice for couples celebrating their 10th, 60th and 75th wedding anniversaries.

Diamonds are graded using a system developed by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) called the 4 C's. The 4 C's are: color, clarity, cut and carat. The 4 C's help classify diamonds and determine their quality and cost.
